“Audible from afar”, “melodic world”, “lied”, “entering and leaving”, “undertone”, “veiled”, “flames”, “snow”: these are some of the terms used by the composers featured in this programme, filling their imaginary soundscape like incense smoke or like the silent impact of snowflakes touching the ground.

Duo Anamorfosi is not simply a violin and piano ensemble, but an aesthetic experience that uses the combination of the two instruments as a means to explore musical and artistic movements of the 20th and 21st centuries. The programme revolves around the concepts of “song without words” and melody, a notion that seems to have been largely forgotten in recent musical trends.
